Peter graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the UNSW. He spent 12 months as an assistant accountant for a large corporate entity before joining a first tier international firm of Chartered Accountants as an auditor. From 1976 to 1998, Peter worked in a variety of listed and unlisted corporate entities. He held such senior roles as Financial Controller, Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer. Peter later consulted to the State and Federal Governments for the NSW 2000 Olympic Organisation. In 1999 Peter established his own firm specialising in accounting, tax and business advice.

Peter has undertaken numerous high level negotiations with the Australian Taxation Office and Federal Government relating to client matters.

He is a keen surfer, enjoys music, theatre, cycling and supporting and mentoring other professionals.

Edmund’s work experience in the UK and in Australia has exposed him to international business and multi-national regulations. He has worked in first tier and mid tier accounting firms dealing with various US and UK subsidiaries operating in Australia as well as having extensive exposure to both large listed and unlisted businesses. His major focus is tax legal work which encompasses objections, appeals and provision of litigation support to clients.

He enjoys an occasional game of golf, cooking and traveling. His passion is to give back to the profession by offering assistance in coaching, training and mentoring for young accountants.

Andrew has extensive experience in public practice providing a variety of accounting and financial advisory services. Over his career he has developed specialist knowledge in the areas of tax planning, superannuation, financial planning and investment portfolio construction and management.

Andrew’s approach is centred on developing a strong understanding of each client’s situation and objectives and applies his diverse skillset to implement high quality strategic advice.

He enjoys in his spare time surfing, skiing, rugby and travel, and his young family is prominent on his lifestyle agenda.

Vahe specialises in CFO activity and relishes in developing and growing businesses. He gained his experience working in substantial organisations including a first tier international firm of Chartered Accountants, a listed multinational company and various large family enterprises. For the last twenty years he has conducted his own professional services business providing accounting and commercial skills to businesses that outsource the CFO function.

He is skilled at implementing systems and control procedures to produce and analyse monthly profit and loss reports, balance sheets, budget variances, cash position and cash forecasting, debtor’s collections, payroll, supplier payments, inventory costing and all tax compliance issues at both federal and state level.

In providing the above functions, Vahe allows business owners the opportunities and time to focus on sales and to manage the businesses as proper entrepreneurs should.

He enjoys travel, good movies and spending time with his family.

Kevin completed his accounting degree with interests in psychology and computing at Macquarie University. He worked with a first tier international firm of Chartered Accountants both in Australia and in Papua New Guinea. Kevin then spent ten years in practice in partnership, and for the last twenty years, with his team, he has been in sole practice with a focus on small and medium enterprises.

His interests and experience encompass business development, management consulting, strategy, planning, business valuations, accounting, taxation, audit and assurance.

He is an avid golfer, surf lifesaver and sometime winemaker.

Francis commenced his accounting career in 1976, developing his unique and extensive business skills in the commercial environment working for an international manufacturing company. He moved quickly through the company and within a short period was elevated to the position of Chief Accountant, at the tender age of 23.

The exposure in this diverse commercial environment allowed him to gain extremely valuable experience in the areas of credit control, costing, manufacturing issues, budgeting, inventory control, dual currency reporting and staff management/human resources issues. Francis uses his human resource skills to great benefit in his current environment.

Francis moved into the public taxation and accounting sector in 1985, commencing his own practice in 1989. The main focus of the practice is on the business sector as well as managing a large portfolio of self managed superannuation funds.

He enjoys competition tennis and sailing remains a favourite pastime.

Teddy established his own public practice T. Carandang & Associates in the Philippines until he migrated to Australia. He initially worked as a commercial accountant for a private manufacturing company, before joining Edmund So in public practice. He became a Migration Agent in 1998 specialising in General Skilled Migration and Business Migration. He is at present based in the Philippines as the President of The Accountancy Practice Solutions, Inc., an accounting outsourcing firm providing professional support and taxation services to public accounting practices in Australia.

He enjoys travelling and playing “words with friends”.

Greg has gained substantial experience as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales. He was subsequently admitted as Solicitor on the Register of Practitioners in the High Court of Australia. Greg commenced practising on his own account in 1981. His areas of practice include conveyancing, leases, wills and probate, family law, criminal law, commercial law and over the last 7 years, Greg has placed further emphasis on civil litigation covering all areas and facets of the law.

Greg has developed one very important and critical philosophy for his clients, having experienced the same over many years of exposure to various areas of law, that is “prevention is better than cure”. One area providing great satisfaction to him, is in mentoring and passing on his valuable years of experience to the younger generation of lawyers entering and passing through the profession.

His other interests beyond the law, are golf, boating and playing the piano.
